Do you think Iowa Att. Gen. Bird would justify Me or any common Citizen for shooting and killing another person who was carrying a toy or fake gun? Has she ever found anything wrong with any police killings of Citizens? The gestapo is never wrong. Republican lawmakers have given police so much “FAVORED status in the law” immune from lawsuits, 99% immune from prosecution” until Common Citizens have “NO rights” by comparison. Just like in any tyrannical dictatorship governments. Police training de-sensitizes them about killing citizens. Only the cops life matters. Even the U.S. Dept. of Justice said “many police killings were not necessary”> They’re trained to use the most deadly ammunition available, mushrooming/exploding bullets (that our military are not allowed to use), aim for vital areas, multiple shots, make sure the citizen is “dead” rather than “just stopped”, and I never hear a squeak of objection or protest from the so called “pro-life religious community”. The only narrow minded thing they know is their “tyrannical control over Women’s wombs”.
