Letter to the Editor:

I believe we have never had a better group of people running for the Presidency of the U.S. After spending much time comparing these candidates, I believe there is one who stands above the rest. That candidate is Dr. Benjamin Solomon Carson. Dr. Carson was raised in dire poverty, and was called the dummy of his class. But his mother with a 3rd grade education, made him shut off the TV and start reading books. Ben persevered, and today is an emeritus professor of neurosurgery, oncology, plastic surgery, and pediatrics, at the John Hopkins School of medicine.

Some say he is not qualified because he has never been a Governor or politician. Great! We have had enough politicians.

Dr. Carson is the first and only Dr. to successfully seperate Siamese twins joined at the back of the head. How would these politicians like to put together a team and perform such an awesome operation? They say he has no business experience. Dr. Carson not only ran a multi-hundred million dollar division at John Hopkins University Hospital, he also started and served as CEO of a non-profit that operates in all 50 states. Also, he has served for two decades on the board of two multi-billion corporations – Costco and The Kellogg Co.

Dr. Carson has been forced to make life and death decisions quickly and under tremendous pressure.

I could go on, but I believe one of the most important attributes is his character, as with President Ronald Reagan, he is a humble man with great character.

Please consider being a supporter of Dr. Carson, and may the U.S. be that shining light on the hill again.
