INTERPOL discussion continues

Letter to the Editor:

I appreciate the response from Anne Michael. It is nice to know that other people pay attention and care to respond. After reading her letter, I again resumed my search for more information. I was confused as to why she understood that President Obama curbed INTERPOL’s power.

In 1983 President Reagan put two exceptions into his Executive Order 12425. The first had to do with taxation; the second piece was to make sure that foreign agencies had to have the same accountability as our law enforcement. What Obama did amended President Reagan’s’ order, taking the two exceptions out of the Order. Obama’s order is available on the internet for viewing.

Ms. Michael said that INTERPOL will no longer enjoy tax exemptions on goods brought into the US. That much is true, because now they have to pay NO taxes at all. Furthermore, none of INTERPOL’s files are subject to legal subpoena or discovery. So basically anything our government doesn’t want us to see they can hand to INTERPOL for “safe” keeping, until any controversy over it dies down. Or if INTERPOL arrests one of our citizens they don’t have to show any records to explain their actions. The INTERPOL officers are also immune from search and seizure.

The thing that is so frightening about this is more of our rights are being stripped away from the American people. Global Law agencies have full authority here in our United States beyond the control of our FBI.

We are rapidly heading toward becoming the USSA (United Socialist States of America). We are no longer using the Constitution as our guide (or the Bible either for that matter!). The tide has to turn. Please pray for our elected officials and other leaders.
