Letter to the Editor:

I read with disgust the recent article of ACORN workers being arrested for voter registration fraud and the comment made by an ACORN representative saying, “the government should do more to modernize the voter registration system”. I thought about this for about 2 seconds and the last time I registered to vote. I believe it took me about 3.5 minutes to produce a legal, valid identification, fill out and sign the form; much less time than it takes to say…get a tattoo, uh…buy a flat screed TV, and about the same amount of time it takes to stand in line and buy a pack of cigarettes.

It is not the governments responsibility to make sure everyone is registered to vote. I believe that if you do not take the time to register to vote, I DO NOT WANT YOU TO VOTE and your not informed enough to vote. ACORN should be shut down and the millions of dollars the government has given them (that can be found) returned to the tax payers.
