Dear Editor:

Recently, my almost 93 year old father who is bed ridden wanted to attend the viewing of his sister, Kathryn Weaver, and her funeral. I was told to call the Toledo Ambulance for assistance. The Toledo dispatcher called and in a very short time I had a team to help my father out of the house and into the car. The team again responded quickly and my father was returned to his house.

I feel very fortunate that the next day the same events took place so that my father, Carl Uchytil, could attend the funeral of his last sibling.

I was so impressed with this sevice to the community. The team was helpful, quick, professional and concerned with the welfare of my aged father. This service is so rare these days. I live on the east coast and it was so refreshing to encounter these helpful people when I needed them the most.

I just wanted to publicly thank them.
