Have you ever lost something and cannot find it? Most assuredly, as soon as I buy a new pair of socks, one of the pairs comes up missing in the wash.

I rummage through all the clothes thinking it was hung up in the armpit of a hoodie or static clinging to the back of a dress shirt, but it’s nowhere to be found. Even the washer repairman told me he loses socks in the wash, too! What’s going on?

Some things lost, though, get found. Leaving for church one morning, I helped my wife out to the car and returned to the house to look for my glasses.

I tore the place apart looking for them. All I could find was my wife’s glasses. Time was marching on and I needed to get down the road very soon, but still no glasses. Then I stopped to think for a moment.

If I cannot find my glasses, but I did find her glasses…whose glasses is she wearing? Yup! When I returned to the car, there she sat, peacefully enjoying the sunshine — wearing my glasses!

Lost…but now found! Where do you stand with God, today? — Lost? Trust Jesus today! Be found!
