1st Guy: Ya know it’s just gettin’ worse and worse. Every year we just get farther behind no matter how hard we work.

2nd Guy: Yep, and it makes me mad! That’s why I voted for Trump. I want a change, and he tells it like it is!

1st Guy: Great idea! What’s he gonna do to change things so we can finally get ahead?

2nd Guy: Well, he’s gonna cut taxes for corporations and cut our taxes a little bit.

1st Guy: Gee – that’s called trickle down economics. We’ve had that for some decades now, and it only made the rich richer and us poorer.

2nd Guy: But I like Trump cause he’s gonna make America great again.

1st Guy: Good deal!! How’s he gonna do that?

2nd Guy: He’s gonna bring good jobs back to America. He doesn’t like those jobs goin’ overseas.

1st Guy: But didn’t he have factories in China and Mexico makin’the clothes he sells here?

2nd Guy: Well, he’s changed! Now that he’s gonna be president, he’s gonna change.

1st Guy: Gotcha – so when he said that the “American worker earns too much” (direct quote) he was just kiddin.

2nd Guy: Sure he really cares for us workin’ people now that he’s gonna be president.

1st Guy: Then why do you suppose the Secretary of Labor he chose said he would replace workers with robots because robots are “always on time”? (Direct quote.)

2nd Guy: But Trump saved 1,100 Carrierjobs in Ohio from going to Mexico!

2nd Guy: But that turned out to be 730 jobs – and it IS good they will stay here, BUT 550 jobs are still going to Mexico; it cost taxpayers several million to get Carrier to keep some jobs here; and when Trump bragged about Carrier spending 16 million to improve the plant – well – that 16 million is going to be used to put in robots to replace workers.

1st Guy: Oh, you’re just bein’ political. Trump is gonna make America Great Again.

2nd Guy: I gotta admire your bright outlook, and maybe you’re right – after all the cap you’re wearin’ says “Make America Great Again – — and you bought it.
