Marilyn Black Cloud Dameron

Marilyn Black Cloud Dameron, 77, of Hastings, MN and formerly of Tama, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Benedictine Living Community in Hastings, MN. A Traditional Wake will be held Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Bear Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Monday, August 10, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama.

Survivors include her children, Amy Black Cloud of Hastings, MN, and Ryan Black Cloud of Marshalltown; eleven grandchildren; brothers, Frank Black Cloud, Dale Black Cloud, and Larry Black Cloud, all of Tama; adopted siblings, Peggy Wanatee, Priscilla Wanatee, Darlene Lasley, Stella (Ray) Youngbear, and Eloise Lasley; and many nieces and nephews.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
