Curtis Seymour

Curtis Dale Seymour, “Eskamegia”, 70, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026 at home due to a sudden illness. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 5-8 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 19, 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Meskwaki Tribal Center Gym, rural Tama. A Private Family Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama.

Survivors include his mother; Patsy Seymour of Tama; children, Ryan Seymour of Marshalltown, Eric Seymour of Marshalltown, Brooke Seymour (Jesse Adkins) of Marshalltown, Jordan Seymour (Jordan Bradley) of Tiffin, Jade Seymour (Dawson Davenport) of Tama, and Jonah Seymour of Cedar Rapids; step-daughter, Joslin (Peter) Gessner of Charleston, SC; twenty-five grandchildren; siblings, Norman (Cheryl) Seymour of Tama, Dwayne Seymour of Tama, Charlie Seymour of Tama, Michelle (Tom) Grimes of Toledo, and Ira Dean (Megan) Seymour of Tama; aunt, Iola Snow; several nieces, nephews, and adopted family members.
