Barbara Muecke

Barbara Faye Muecke, age 90, was born on April 20, 1936 in Toledo, Iowa. She was the daughter of Milo and Blanche (Stevenson) Striley. Barbara passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. She was married to Bruce Muecke. Barbara retired from the Tama County Treasurer's Office in 2001. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband Bruce, of Titusville, FL; four children: Rebecca (Alex) Ritchie of Titusville, FL, Christopher (Diane) Bearden of Tama, IA, Amy (Lyle) Henle of Toledo, IA, Cynthia (Eric) Rademacher of Port St. John, FL; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Merle & Dean, one sister Shirley & two grandsons Brian Brandon & Konnor. Burial will be at a later date.
