Douglas “Doug” Winders

Douglas “Doug” Winders, age 78, and life-long resident of Garwin, Iowa, passed away on the morning of May 3, 2026 at Unity Point St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Per Doug’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service will take place. He will be laid to rest at the Garwin Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Doug’s name may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
