Gareth Morgan

TAMA-Gareth Robyn Morgan, 50, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at his home under the care of UnityPoint Hospice. A Traditional Wake will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the Fox Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth Pushetonequa; brothers, Gabriel R. Morgan, Gerald R. (Rosie) Morgan, and Jeffrey “Tewa” Jefferson; sisters, Tika Morgan, Lucy (Beau) Lasley, and Maggi Morgan; his children, Mileena Morgan, Dacia Morgan, Graylen Morgan, Gareth R. Morgan II, Miris Morgan; grandson, Alikae Nieves; uncles, Gene Morgan, and James Pushetonequa; aunts, Loretta Begay, Leona Azure Whiteman, and Janan Mohler; cousins, Marland Sanache, and Keelan Walker; special friend, Desse Davenport; brother-in-law, Martin Arriaga Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
