Amelia (Buffalo) Lasley

TAMA-Amelia (Buffalo) Lasley, 81, of Tama, passed away, Thursday, April 1, 2026. A Traditional Wake will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.

Survivors include her children, Laurie (Javier), Larry Sr. (Marcine), Leigh, Allison, Orrie Jr. (Sonja), and Joey (Nana); grandchildren, Miles, Nena, Lyrik, Kadyn, Lorenzo, Francisco, Marquez, Sterling, Larry Jr., Iyawa, Laila, Seenane, Tahchuhsee; great-grandchildren, Olythia, Wyomia, Evangeline, Maxwell, Villani, and Rainier; sister, Verna Davenport; brother, Johnathan L. Buffalo (Suzanne); many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
