Funeral Services for Jerry D. Evelsizer, 93, of Fairmont, MN will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fairmont. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Brethren Cemetery in Panora, IA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Bethel Evangelical Free Church and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Those wishing to view the service may do so at https://www.bethel-fairmont.org. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Jerry Dean Evelsizer, formerly of Jefferson, Iowa, passed away March 12, 2026, at Lakeview Methodist Healthcare Center at the age of 93 years.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Dennis (Cathy) Evelsizer, of Decorah, Iowa and Dr. Robert (Gwen) Evelsizer, of Fairmont, Minnesota, a daughter Diana (Donald) Morgan, of Iowa City Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Jo Juhl Johnson, sister-in-law, Joyce (Edward) Hassing, sister-in-law, Lola Booth, nephews and nieces, and exchange student from Milan, Italy.
