Larry Herink

Larry C. Herink, 80, of Lincoln, IA passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at his residence. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Salem Church of Lincoln. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Military honors will take place immediately following the service outside the church, with a luncheon to follow in the fellowship hall. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Maple Hill Cemetery in rural Gladbrook. Memorials may be directed to the Salem Church of Lincoln or the Lincoln AMVETS. Larry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vickie of Lincoln, his daughter, Heidi (Jed) Bergen of Sutton, NE, his grandsons, Wyatt (Naudia) Bergen of Omaha, NE and Jesse Bergen of Wayne, NE, his siblings, Rob (Kathy) Herink of Gladbrook, Jan Grossnickle of Liberty, NC, and Donna (Tom) Kehoe of St. Petersburg, FL, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Teddy. He was preceded in death by his son, Lance, and his sister, Debbie Edwards.
