Lotus Bear

TAMA-Lotus Leighton Bear, age 1, of Tama, passed away, Thursday, December 25, 2025 at UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown Hospital. A Traditional Wake will be held Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Bear Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama.

Survivors include his mom, Andriea; dad, Lucius; aunts and uncles, Martha (Lexi), Memo (Adi), Ale, Marissa, Andres, and Nena; Grandma Kristy and Grandpa Andres; Grandpa Adolph, Koko Clydene; cousins, Allias and Genevieve; Grandpa Lucius, Grandpa Travis; aunt Sérei; and uncle Lane.
