Malin Choneska

TAMA-Malin Kenneth Choneska, 47, of Lincoln, NE and formerly of Tama, passed away, Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln, NE. A Traditional Wake will be held Tuesday evening, September 16, 2025, at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at McIntosh Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.

Survivors include his father, Merlin Choneska, Sr. of Mescalero, NM; mother, Regina Papakee of Tama; siblings, Merlin (Cheyenne) Choneska Jr. and family; Marlena (Kauila) Clark and family; Marion Choneska, and Lanie Negrete and family; uncles and aunts, Wynell Geronimo and family, Zeno Enjady and family, Collins Enjady and family, Bonna Dell Ortega and family, Gene Enjady and family, April Sanchez and family, Marketa Martine and family, and Cathy Sampson and family; and many nieces and nephews.
