TAMA-Thomas Aaron Davenport “Bemwetaka”, 65, of Tama, passed away on Saturday June 28, 2025, at Premier Estates of Toledo in Toledo, Iowa. A Traditional Wake will be held Monday evening, June 30, 2025, at the Glenn Roberts’ Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.

Survivors include his niece, Jennifer Keahna and nephews, Wilbur Keahna and Gregory Keahna Jr., sister-in-law Kristine Keahna, all of Tama; granddaughter, Alexandria Keahna-Harris of Tama; grandson Roman Keahna-Harris of Ankeny; and adopted brother, Adrian Pushetonequa of Tama.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
