Pamela White

Pamela Kay White, 58, of Tama, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at UnityPoint Health-Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Warren Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home. The family requests that people are welcome to dress casually.

Pamela was born on December 19, 1965, in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Pauline (Badger) Alexander.

She graduated from South Tama High School in 1984 attended Kirkwood College. Pam was a business analyst for Grinnell Mutual for many years and also worked at Bohemian Mutual in Toledo.

Pam was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tama. She enjoyed her Facebook games, the KC Chiefs, Chicago White Sox, NASCAR and any Iowa team sport. She loved traveling with Hunter and Gina on many adventures. Her musical interests included Joan Jett, Def Leppard, White Snake Band and the Nitty Bitty Dirt Band.

Survivors include her son, Hunter of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Gina (Cheyenne) Connell of St. James, MN; her mother, Pauline of Tama; four grandchildren, James, Greyson, Harper and Haizlee Connell; two sisters, Debora Alexander and Peggy Anderson, both of Tama; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Alexander; nephew, Robert E. Anderson; and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial fund will be established.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
