Linda Potter

Linda Lee (Beck) Potter, 79, passed away peacefully October 5, 2023, at VIA Care Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Linda Lee Beck was born August 7, 1944, to Dale O. & Ruth Beck, of Belle Plaine, IA.

Linda attended the Belle Plaine schools and graduated from high school in May of 1962, June brought a beautiful church wedding where she was united in marriage with Neil H. Potter.

To this union three children were born, Neil Robert, Wendy Lee and John Dale.

Linda enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and riding alongside her friend and husband of 61 years Neil. She worked in the Tama-Toledo area for many years in various positions.

Linda’s favorite memory when asked was “Our trip to Canada on the bikes.”

Linda is survived by their children Neil R., of Des Moines, IA, Wendy L., of Alden, IA, John D. (Michelle), of Des Moines, IA.

Her sisters: Shirley Share, of Cedar Rapids, Jan (Steve) Howard, of Raymond, Colleen (John) Bazyn, of Montezuma, and Denise Beck, of Belle Plaine; Brothers: Bill (Sharon) Beck, of Newhall, Nook (Terria) Beck, of Belle Plaine, and Dale (Denise) Beck Jr., of Jacksboro, Texas. Grandchildren: Brandi, Eric and Nathan. Great grandchildren: Laila, Jaxon, Rose, Naomi and Nova.

Linda is proceeded in death by her by her husband Neil, parents, sister Jannette Strieder, nieces Stacy and Kelly, nephews Shane and Joel C., grandson Joshua R. Potter.
