Jill Kay Nicholson, 42

3-16-1981– 9-21-2023

Jill closed her eyes on September 21st, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends and opened them to the glorious sight of her loving Father. She was a resident of Newport, Tennessee, and formally Marseilles, Illinois.

She was born in Toledo, Iowa, on March 16th, 1981. Her parents Roger and Kim Junge have always had tremendous pride and love for this beautiful, joy filled woman of faith. Jill has two siblings Leah Birker (Jeff-fafa) IA, and Eric Struve (Valerie) IA.

Jill met the love her life, who quickly became her best friend and husband, Brent Nicholson in October 2013. They married in January 2016 joining their two families: two daughters Ellie and Elaina “Fred,” two sons Brad and Dean (Katie) IL. Other surviving loved ones include: 5 cousins, 6 nieces and nephews, Grandmother Marlene Crabtree IA, Aunt- Kristie Larsen AZ, Uncle- AJ Kajer (Susan) MI, friends from her nursing community, Stacy, Aaron, Jessica and others too numerous to list individually. And let’s not forget her grand-pets; Bean and Bruno.

Jill was the Director of Nursing at Sevierville Health and Rehab. She enjoyed camping, boating, selling on eBay, garage sales, iced coffees and the company of her loving family and friends.

Visitation will be at the Atchley Funeral Home on September 24th from 1-3. Her family wanted to start the Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 3, however they’re telling everyone 3:15 as we all know Jill will be late.
