Michael Lee Graham, 84

Michael Lee Graham, 84, passed away at Arbor Court Retirement Home, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, on March 12, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 11:30 at Grace Community Church in Toledo, Iowa, with a time of food and fellowship to follow. Visitation will be at the church before the service from 10 to 11:30. Burial will be private.

Mike was born on August 6, 1938, the son Robert Sr. and Fern (Moore) Graham in Burlington, Iowa. He attended school in Burlington. On June 22, 1956, he married Jean Keever and they had three daughters. The couple divorced in 1978.

Mike was an electrician by trade and worked on various large projects around Iowa including the building of the Duane Arnold Nuclear Facility near Palo. He was a 50-year member of the IBEW. He enjoyed helping family with construction projects, fishing and playing cards.

He is survived by his daughters: Teresa/Teri (Jeff) Carson, of Grandview, Brenda Graham, of Vanzant, Missouri, and Julie (Dan) Rathjen, of Tama; Grandchildren: Danielle (Mike) Meana, David (Jessica) Johnson, Jeffrey Carson, Connor Carson, Tyler (Callie) Carson, Brandi (Billy) Paul, Prince (Kellie) Johnson, Tara Rathjen, Laura Rathjen, Devin (Megan) Rathjen, Daniel Rathjen and Katelyn (Clay) Gettle; 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; three siblings: Darlene Graham, Florence McMahon and Jerry (Nancy) Graham and sister-in-law, Ruth Graham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children, Jean Graham, and a brother, Robert Graham, Jr.
