Eric Vance Wilhelmi, 58

Eric Vance Wilhelmi, 58, of Toledo, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at his home. Private Family Services will be held with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.

Eric was born on February 4, 1964, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Ersol and Jean (Mitchum) Wilhelmi.

He graduated from South Tama High School in 1982 and received his Associates Degree from DMACC. Eric worked for Lennox in Marshalltown for many years and then managed the Meskwaki Fuel Company for six years. He was a member of the NRA. Eric enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on guns.

Survivors include his mother, Jean Wilhelmi, of Toledo; half-brother, Randy Hamiel, of Des Moines; half-sister, Cynthia Prince, of Camden, AR; several nieces and nephews; his dear friends, the Matt Kesl family, of Tama; and his beloved dog, Hawkeye and cat, Puma.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ersol “Bud” on November 14, 2011.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a future donation.
