Anna Arro Lyons, 37

Anna Arro Lyons, 37, of Tama, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Traditional Graveside Services was held Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Wake was held Monday evening, October 3, 2022, at the Bear Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement.

Anna was born on July 19, 1985, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Resa (Papakee) Blackcloud Sr.

Anna graduated with a BA in Business. Her biggest interests were supporting her daughter and nieces and nephew.

Survivors include her daughter, Arro Lyons; her parents, Dale and Resa Blackcloud Sr., of Tama; brothers, Murphy Blackcloud and Cheyenne Tyon, both of Tama.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Blackcloud Jr.; paternal grandparents, Truman and Frieda (Youngbear) Blackcloud; and maternal grandparents, Richard Papakee and Evelyn Climer.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
