Darryl W. Steveson

Darryl W. Steveson, 60, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022, at UnityPoint Health in Marshalltown, following a sudden illness. He was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Darryl Wayne Steveson was born February 10, 1962, in Toledo to Richard and Colleen (Konicek) Steveson. He attended South Tama schools and graduated in 1980.

He spent eight years in the U.S. Navy. Darryl got to see a lot of the world by ship. After his service he had various jobs, working the last 27 years at M. Gervich and Sons in Marshalltown.

Darryl is survived by his parents; sister, Valerie (Martin) Kaiser, of Toledo; brothers, Barry (Shunda) Steveson, of San Antonio, Texas, and Paul (Heidi) Steveson, of rural Toledo; a special friend Crystal Naber and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation in Darryl’s name.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
