Raymond ‘Ray’ Dee

Raymond ‘Ray’ Dee, 82, of Grand Island, NE, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Good Samaritan Village in Grand Island.

To honor his wishes cremation was chosen. There will be no services at this time.

All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.

Ray was born on August 1, 1939, in Malcom, IA, only child of Charles and Leota (Thompson) Dee. He grew up in Malcom and Traer, Iowa, and graduated with the class of 1956 from Traer High School.

He married Alma ‘Toots’ (Gydesen) Keller in 1966. This union blessed Ray with four step children and one daughter. The family soon moved to Nebraska where Ray was employed at Demers Garage. Ray was always learning and continued to take multiple classes and win awards for his excellence in Auto Mechanics. His loving advice and car repairs will be missed by his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Dee, of Grand Island; step-children: Christine Keller, of Grand Island, Janee Broadway of WA, Karen Keller, of Phoenix, AZ, and Kraig Keller, of CO; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; along with numerous friends and family.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Alma ‘Toots.’
