Dewey Wilfong III

Dewey D. Wilfong III, 28 of Chelsea, Iowa died October 28, 2021, at Unity Point St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Dewey was born on September 1, 1993, in Waterloo, Iowa the son of Dewey D. Wilfong and Shasti (Herman) Mann. He received his education from Chelsea Elementary and South Tama High School. Dewey was employed with the McCoy Construction Company building stadium bleachers throughout the country. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, skateboarding and fishing.

He is survived by a son, Kaysn, his mother and father Shasti (Bruce) Mann, Montour, IA, his father Dewey D. Wilfong II, Chelsea, IA, three brothers; Payne (Makendlle Smith) Wilfong, Centerton, AR, Jonathan (Mary) Mann, Grinnell, IA, Rusty (Kaitlin) Mann, Reinbeck, IA, two sisters; Amber (Tommy) Clark, Marshalltown, IA, Annabelle Wilfong. His maternal grandparents; Shawn and Harold Burk, Evansdale, IA, and David and Wendy Herman, Holland, IA, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dewey was preceded in death by a brother Joshua David Wilfong and his paternal grandparents; Dewey and Shirley Wilfong.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12 PM Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, at the Tama Ballroom, 1411 E. 5th St., Tama, IA, with a luncheon and fellowship to follow.
