Bruce Plowman, 66, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.
Bruce was born on February 22, 1955, the son of Richard and Ruth (Hanus) Plowman.
Bruce graduated from Garwin High School in the Class of 1973. On January 2, 1998, he was united in marriage to Dotty McClenathan. He worked several years for Lennox Industries, retiring in February of 2020.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Dotty Plowman of Toledo; three step-children, Lisa (Nilton) Oliveira of Granby, CO, Nicole Mann of Brooklyn, IA, and Joshua McClenathan of Coralville, IA; five grandchildren, Dylan, Blake, Preston, Elaine, and Inayara; his mother Ruth Plowman of Toledo; four siblings, Nikki (Tom) Novak of Toledo, Jan Alexander of Montour, Michael Plowman of Marshalltown, and Brian (Tammy) Plowman of Marshalltown; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is his father Richard Plowman, brother-in-law, Joe Alexander, and niece, Stacy Alexander.
