Edland Stacey Walker, “Me-No-Sa-Ta”, 43, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, Colorado. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Wake was held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Fox Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement.

Edland was born on April 22, 1977, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Lyle Walker and Doreen Roberts.

He graduated from high school in Sante Fe New Mexico. Edland was a sheet metal worker by trade.

Edland enjoyed artwork, boxing and spending time with his family joking around. He also enjoyed low rider vehicles and various types of music.

Survivors include his mother, Doreen Roberts of Lawrence, Kansas; father, Lyle (Kate) Walker of Fort Collins, Colorado; two sons, Adonis Walker of Fort Collins, Colorado and Raul Romero Walker of Espanola, New Mexico; siblings, Erica Walker of Lawrence, Kansas, Lance Walker of Marshalltown, Michael Youngbear of Tama, Muriel Youngbear of Lawrence, Kansas, Dean Picotte of Grinnell, Jackson Walker of Fort Collins, Colorado, Brian Walker of Kentucky and Anna Walker of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; adopted brother, Barrin Sanache of Tama; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his son, Rico Walker; maternal grandparents, Chester Davenport and Darlene Roberts and paternal grandparents, Alex Walker Sr. and Irene Johnson Walker.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
