Robert M. Upah

Robert M. Upah, Age 84, passed away at the Accura Health Care Center in Newton, Iowa surrounded by his loving family.

The family wishes to have an inurnment at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chelsea, Iowa at a later date.

Robert was born on September 12, 1936 in Brooklyn, Iowa. He was the son of the late Joseph F. and Mary (Reitzler) Upah. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish Robert’s memory are his children, Cindy (Ken) Bidwell of Tama, IA, Randy (Julie) Upah of Chelsea, IA, Gary (Jayme) Upah, of Tama, IA, John (Cara) Upah of Des Moines, IA, Mark Upah of Texas, and Todd (Nicole) Upah of Toledo, IA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Bernard Upah, Mary Lou Van De Walle, Paul Upah, Pauline Mensing, and Linda Dubois. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Caroline, Joseph E. “Buster”, Jane, Louise Ann, and Jim.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

The family would like to give a special thank-you to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Accura Health Care Center for all of the love, support, and care they showed to their father.
