Elmer "Fudd" Roberts Jr. "Mi-twi-ya"

MONTOUR-Elmer “Fudd” Roberts Jr. “Mi-twi-ya”, 66, of Montour, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Montour under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. A Traditional Wake was held Monday evening at the Fox Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement.

Elmer was born on September 13, 1954, on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama, Iowa, the son of Elmer and Mae (Keahna) Roberts Sr.

He married Marian Davenport in 1985. Fudd was a maintenance worker. He enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Marian; brother, Lou Roberts; son, Dirk Whitebreast; daughter, Rebecca Roberts; grandsons, Karac (Gabbi) Davenport, and Kaleb Davenport; granddaughters, Courtney (Dennis) Davenport, and Carissa Davenport; five great-grandsons; daughter-in-law, Teresa Manfull-Davenport; adopted children, Jerilyn Balderas, Jerry Youngbear Jr., Justeen Youngbear, Tarah Bear, Albert Bylas, and Dustin Jefferson; adopted brothers, Adolph Bear, Vance Brown, and Marland Sanache; adopted sister, Jolene Davenport; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings, Gordon, Wilson, Ray, and Roberta; step-daughter Geraldine Davenport and step-son, Garry Davenport Jr.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
