TOLEDO-Diana Jean Chamberlin, 69, of Toledo, died unexpectedly December 30, 2020 at UnityPoint-Grinnell Regional Medical Center due to complications from a recent surgery. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. A Memorial Visitation will be held prior to the Graveside Service on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10 AM until 12 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. It is required that everyone attending wear a mask and social distancing should be practiced as well.

Diana was born on April 17, 1951, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the daughter of Darold and Betty (Kasal) Flynn.

She graduated from South Tama High School.

On July 14, 1972, she was united in marriage to Roger D. Chamberlin in Toledo, Iowa. Prior to her working career, she concentrated on raising her family. Diana was an Assistant Supervisor of Housekeeping at the Meskwaki Bingo & Casino. She was a former school bus driver, worked at the Office Tavern and sorted corn for Pioneer. Diana liked to play cards and drink coffee. Her greatest joy was time spent with family, especially her grandkids.

Survivors include two sons, Donnie (Nicole) Chamberlin and their sons, Grayson and Reid of West Des Moines, and Robbie (Dani) Chamberlin and their children, Taytin, Brodie and Dreya of Tama; one brother, Bob (Lori) Flynn of Toledo; her sister-in-law, Sue Chamberlin of Clive; and several nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Roger on June 30, 2011; and her brother-in-law, Dennis Chamberlin.
