Harold Dean Suchanek

Harold Dean Suchanek, 90, of Tama, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Premier Estates of Toledo. Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama at a future date. Please feel free to leave condolences to the family at www.kruse-phillips.com.

Dean was born on April 4, 1930, in Toledo, Iowa, the son of Frank and Bernice (Crawford) Suchanek.

He graduated from Tama High School in 1948.

Dean was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and an honorary member of the Tama American Legion.

Survivors include a sister, Dorie Valenta of Clutier; niece, Nancy (Matt) Hanken of Plymouth, MN; great nephew, Josh; and great niece Mackenzie.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother-in-law, Robert Valenta; and cousins

He will be fondly missed by his family and friends.
