Reginald Clive Walker, 27, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in Montour, Iowa. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama with Alex Walker Jr. as speaker. A Traditional Wake will be held Wednesday evening at the Glenn Roberts’ Ceremonial Building, 3005 F Ave on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Montour.

Reginald was born on October 10, 1988, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Aaron and Gayle (Kapayou) Walker.

He graduated from South Tama High School and attended Flandreau Indian School in South Dakota.

Reginald previously worked at Lennox in Marshalltown and also did roofing. Reggie loved to hunt, fish and golf with his friends. He enjoyed the outdoors. In his childhood, he was a boxer. Most importantly, Reginald loved his kids.

Survivors include his children, Addison, Mila, and Kimber Walker of Tama; his parents, Aaron and Gayle Walker of Tama; one brother, Forrest of Tama; three sisters, Kathy and Megan both of Tama, and Rhiannon of Winnebago, NE; his grandparents, Sylvia Kapayou, Harvey Davenport, Brandon Wanatee, and Myrtle Keahna all of Tama; three nephews, Jarius, Rylan, and Leous; one niece, Jocelyn; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alex and Irene Walker; his maternal grandfather, Leon Max Bear Sr.; two uncles, Emery Walker and Anthony Kapayou; and one aunt, Ardis Walker.
