Kyaus Shawn Davenport, 18, of Tama, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 in Des Moines, Iowa due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama with Father Michael Mescher officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 4 – 7 PM with a vigil service at 7:00 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.

Kyaus was born on July, 28 1998 in Grinnell, Iowa the son of Sharissa Zigler and Delbert

Davenport. He graduated from Midland Park High School in February of 2016.

Kyaus was a very talented artist. He loved spending time with his sister and three step-sisters. Kyaus also enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with his friends.

Preceding him in death was his uncle, Shawn Zigler.

Survivors include his mother, Sharissa (Prentiss Wolf) Zigler of Tama; father, Delbert Davenport of Tama; sister, Nevaeh Zigler of Tama; half siblings, Arianna, Lance, Jadlyn, Draven, Darian, and Danika Davenport all of Tama, step-sisters, Kaydence, Kiela, and Kayda Wolf all of Tama; grandparents, Gary and Patty Zigler of Tama and Talbert and Lynn Davenport of Tama; uncles, Shain and Shace Zigler, Jason, Talbert, and Travis Davenport, aunts, Shannon Dobbs, Melanie Davenport, Tamela Davenport, Deneen Lasley, and Dee Anne Meyer; several cousins; and his girlfriend Ammy Walker of Tama.

A memorial fund has been established.
