Memorial Celebration for Fred A Chalupsky

Please join the family of Fred Chalupsky for a celebration of life on Sunday, August 9th in Vining, Iowa. Friends and family will be greeted at the National Cemetery in Vining beginning at 11AM. Visitation and funeral ceremony will take place with lunch to follow at the Vining Hall.

Colonel Fred Chalupsky of So. Pittsburg TN. Passed away Sunday, Jan 10th. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; a son, James and grandson, Stephen (Kelly) and two great-grand-children, Bryce and Brennen.

Fred was born in Buckingham, Iowa on Jan.26, 1919. A graduate of the Univ. of Iowa with a law degree, he was elected Linn County Attorney. He was drafted to military duty during WWII. He retired from military service having achieved the rank of Colonel. Following this retirement, he became an Administrative Law Judge and was appointed Chief Judge of the Chattanooga office. He was recognized for over 50 years of service in the United States Government.
