TAMA COUNTY – Tama County Women, Land & Legacy (WLL) announces its 57th event – Tama County Market Fall Social set for Thursday, Sept. 17, at Tama County Market, 2821 370th Street in rural Chelsea. Registration will begin at 5 p.m. with the event beginning at 5:30.

Tama County Market provides a rural Iowa shopping experience of handpicked repurposed furniture, timeless antiques, and selections of new home decor. Friends Chris Drummer and Mindi Koehler started out by dreaming of a place where they could own a business selling the items that they loved. Their children are all close friends, leading to plenty of parental committee meetings and bleacher time together. Chris and Mindi planned and explored their common interests. So in a sweat-filled gymnasium, Tama County Market was born! The market became a reality with the first Fall Market in September 2022 and continues to grow with each season. They offer periodic online sales events and seasonal onsite events each May, September and November.

Tama County Market Fall Social is free and open to the general public, both women and men. Light refreshments will be served during the event.
