Public hearings and summer help

This week’s Tama City Council meeting

This week’s Tama City Council meeting started with a couple of public hearings. The first was on the State Street culvert; no one had any comment, and the resolution was approved.

The second public hearing was for a fiscal year 2026 budget amendment. There were no comments. The resolution was approved with a correction. It was approved for the library to advertise for an Assistant Director.

The official resolution for the supplemental pay that was approved at the last council meeting was approved. Cole Eisentrager was hired as part-time temporary summer help at a wage of $15 an hour.

The state revolving fund contract was approved. The council held a closed session, which led to no action.
