Brooklyn Opera House announces spring & summer events

BROOKLYN — The Brooklyn Opera House, a historic cornerstone in the Brooklyn community since 1911, is excited to announce its upcoming spring and summer events.

This season’s schedule features a mix of live music, community theater, and family-friendly programming, including a golf fundraiser, youth camp, and free movie days, offering something for all ages to enjoy. Tickets for all events will be available at www.brooklynoperahouse.com.

Events include:

Community Theater: Trials of Jobe on April 24, 25 and 26: Join the Brooklyn Community Theater for Trials of Jobe: A Comedy, lighthearted production featuring a talented cast of 22 local actors. With a runtime of approximately 50 minutes, this fun and fast-paced show is perfect for all audiences. Tickets are $10.

Ride to Remember featuring Robbie Michael on June 6: Join us in conjunction with the annual Ride to Remember, a community event honoring loved ones and supporting a meaningful local cause. The Brooklyn Opera House will host a live performance by Robbie Michael as part of the day’s activities. Stop in to enjoy live music and take part in the day.

BCD Golf Outing on June 12: Join Brooklyn Community Development for their annual Golf Outing, a day of golf, networking and community support. Proceeds from the event help fund local initiatives and programming. To learn more and register, visit www.brooklynoperahouse.com/golf-tournament.

Kids Camp on June 22-26: Kids Camp returns this summer, offering a fun and engaging experience for young performers. The camp will conclude with a final performance on Friday evening at 7 p.m. Tickets for the performance are $5 and $10.

Free Movie Days for Kids: Enjoy free, family-friendly movies throughout the summer, generously sponsored for the community. Show dates include June 4 and 18; July 2, 16 and 30; and Aug. 13. Concessions will be available for purchase during each showing.
