CONTRIBUTED PHOTO - Last year’s Alumni Pep-Band saw a great turn out. The event this year hopes continue the long standing tradition and see more familiar faces.

The annual STC Alumni Night Pep-Band will be held on Monday, Jan. 9. In boys basketball action against Solon, the group opened up to graduates and community members will play from the band’s recognizable setlist.

STC band director Mike Carnahan shared information about the event on Facebook, saying, “If you are an STC Alumni, STC Staff, or community member, and play or have played an instrument, we would love to have you join us for our annual Alumni Pep Band.” Ending the post with a promise, “Guaranteed to have a lot of fun and play some awesome music together.”

Call time is listed as 5:30 at the high school however guests are able to come when they’re available.

The community is encouraged to come out and hear instruments new and old play classic hits and watch Trojan Basketball!
