Through the snow: This week’s Tama County Supervisors Meeting
The Tama County Administration Building at 104 W State St. in Toledo will be closed to public until further notice.
The supervisors all made tracks as they made their way through the snow to make their way to this week’s regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting was kicked off by Tama County Engineer Ben Daleske giving his weekly report, saying that the PCI Bridge project on S Avenue is finished and open. Also open is E66, where Manatt’s was paving. The plows have been out, and paths will be widened. The supervisors approved a contract for the 300th Street bridge project. The low bid was $1,389,808.21. The final plans for the E44 culvert replacement and the I Avenue bridge replacement were approved as well.
The Eastern Iowa Workforce Development Area Chief Elected Officials shared Liability Agreement was approved by the supervisors. This is a revised edition as one of the 22 counties wanted to make a few small changes.
The supervisors had a few updates, including Supervisor Curt Kupka on how things have been going with his and Supervisor Curt Hilmer’s work with Daleske and the road department.
Claims totaling $71,208.28 were approved.
