Allison Graham recognized as Middle School Counselor of the Year

DES MOINES — Allison Graham, a graduate of South Tama County High School, was recently recognized as the Middle School Counselor of the Year at the Iowa School Counselor Conference held in Des Moines.

Graham has served as a school counselor in the Newton Community School District for the past five years. She was nominated and selected for the statewide honor in recognition of her dedication, leadership, and passion for supporting every student’s success.

In addition to her work in Newton, Graham serves as the chair of the Iowa School Counselor Association Board and has played a key role in developing and leading the state’s counselor mentoring program.
