This distinguished recognition honors a professional whose leadership, advocacy, and lifelong dedication has significantly advanced the school counseling profession and the students of Iowa. Anita’s vision and commitment to serving students, families, and educators have left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire excellence in our schools.

Anita is an amazing counselor, and an amazing person. She helps me see the positive in every day and I am so blessed to work with her.
