TOLEDO – The Tama County Historical Society will present “Coin Trivia Quiz” with Jeff Shaw on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Wieting Theatre, 101 S. Church St., Toledo.

Come and test your knowledge of those little pieces of history we carry around in our purses and pockets, lose between the cushions of our furniture, toss into fountains, and squirrel away in empty food containers and junk drawers. Along the way we’ll have some fun and learn some new and interesting facts about our national coinage.

After the quiz, resource materials will be available to research and find out more about any coins you may wish to bring with you to have assessed.
