Nathan Sage, a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, will be making a stop at the 109th Annual Meskwaki Powwow on Friday evening as part of his statewide “99 Counties in 99 Days” tour. He is scheduled to attend from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Red Earth Gardens, located next to the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel along Highway 30, just west of the improvised powwow grounds.

Sage, who grew up in Mason City, is a U.S. Marine veteran who served in Iraq. He has worked as an auto mechanic and sports broadcaster and previously served as president of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. He is now campaigning ahead of the 2026 U.S. Senate election.

His statewide tour includes visits to each of Iowa’s 99 counties, with a focus on meeting residents and learning about local issues.
