‘Thank You for a Great Summer’ from Tama County 4-H
TAMA COUNTY – Over 600 K-12th graders participated in summer 4-H programs in Tama County this year and we want to say thank you!
We say a huge thank you to our partnerships with the Tama, Toledo, Traer, Dysart, Chelsea, Clutier and Garwin public libraries. Thank you to Tama County Conservation for their partnership with Critter Camp and Fishing Camp. Thank you to Iowa Valley Continuing Education for their partnership with Outdoor Adventures. Thank you Pied Piper Preschool in Traer and Kid’s Corner in Toledo for your invitation to visit with your children. Thank you South Tama for partnering with us and your garden program. Thank you to the Tama County Historical Society for your new partnership with the Haven School House Day camp.
A very special thank you to the Tama County Livestock and Fair Association for the successful 2024 Tama County Fair and all the sponsors who provide financial support.
But most of all, thank all of you who attended Critter Camp, Books for Cooks, Outdoor Adventure Camp, Library Programs, Haven Day Camp, Fishing Camp, Babysitting Basics, South Tama garden program, Lego camps, Overnight camp, and of course the Tama County Fair!
The Iowa 4-H Youth Development Program provides opportunities for youth to develop skills that they can use now and throughout their lives. Iowa 4-H builds upon a century of experience as it fosters positive youth development that is based on the needs and strengths of youth, their families and communities.
