You know that drawer you have that’s filled with a bunch of random stuff; are there any old prescription glasses in there? If so, you can now donate them and pass them on to someone that could put them to good use.

The South Tama Lions Club has just put out boxes at Fareway and Ace Hardware for just those glasses. Some of the first to be donated were from South Tama Elementary. A large baggie full of old, never claimed, and donated glasses were given over to the Lions to find new life.

So, the next time you’re shopping for pomegranates and soup or whatever, make sure to drop in the box those glasses that have been cluttering your house. As the box says, make a positive difference, and help someone see better.
