Celebrate ISU Extension and Outreach Week in Tama County

AMES — Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Week is April 15-20. Iowa’s 100 county extension offices will host “I Spy Cy” activities and educational events throughout the week to thank Iowans for their support of ISU Extension and Outreach throughout the state.

“This celebration is one way we show our appreciation for the people who participate in our educational programs, as well as the many volunteers, community leaders, organizations, agencies and other partners who support our work in Tama County,” said Cheryl Bruene, executive director.

The Tama County Extension Council members are Don Linnenbrink, Judy Morrison, Clint Murty, Jackie Skala, Trish Stadler, Sandy Supianoski, Eric Werner, Jennifer Wrage and Keith Zhorne.

“ISU Extension and Outreach delivers education, facilitates collaboration and sparks action, conducting research and turning discoveries into practical applications. We engage all Iowans, including the people of Tama County, on farms and Main Street, at home and in school, from urban neighborhoods to rural communities,” Bruene said.
