ELBERON — The Elberon Area Women’s Club held its March 18 meeting at the Elberon Community Center at 1:30 pm. with four members present.

Secretary Amanda Nettesheim reported on the December meeting and treasurer Doris Parizek gave the financial report. A memorial was sent to the family of Vernon Parizek. The Club had a bake sale with the Elberon Fire and Rescue fish fry on March 15. Members appreciated the bakery brought in and those who purchased it to support the organization.

The currant officers will continue to hold the office for the coming year. President: Norma Riha, Secretary: Nettesheim and Treasurer: Parizek. Sue Hagen will take over as Historian.

The scholarship recipient will be chosen at the April meeting.

Hostess’ for the coming months are; April, Parizek; May, Nettesheim; June, Hagen; July, Lorraine and August, Marilyn.

Flowers for the planters were discussed. A decision will be made at the April meeting.

Riha furnished lunch.
