DES MOINES – As the first month of the new year wraps up, LifeServe Blood Center is urging community members to roll up a sleeve and give blood donation a try.

Donor retention is a big struggle faced at LifeServe. Many of its donors only donate one to two times per year, but if they all committed to giving one more blood donation this year, the blood supply would be in a much more stable state.
